The story behind the space

Born from a vision for the Ohio Valley.

The Urban Collective opened its doors on November 1, 2025, as the brainchild of Stephanie Sauvageot—also known as the Creativity Queen. A true visionary, Stephanie imagined more than an event venue. She saw a welcoming place where ideas could take shape, people could feel connected, and creative experiences could better the lives of people throughout the Ohio Valley.

That vision comes to life alongside Tate Blanchard, Stephanie’s right-hand man and Events Manager. Together, they pair bold ideas with thoughtful execution, helping celebrations, workshops, pop-up shops, and community gatherings become experiences people remember.

“Where creativity meets community” is more than a tagline—it is the heart of everything we create.

We’re here to make planning feel easier. If your question isn’t covered, call us at (740) 617-0000.

How far in advance should I book?+

Popular weekends fill quickly, so earlier is always better. You can send a request at any time, and we’ll confirm your date before any payment is due.

Can I bring my own food or caterer?+

Yes. The venue is designed to stay flexible, and outside food or a caterer can be part of your event plan. Share the details in your request so we can help you plan the setup.

Can alcohol be served?+

Yes, with the appropriate rental package and venue bar-service arrangements. Alcohol may not be brought in or served outside the approved plan.

What happens after I submit a request?+

Your request is securely submitted through Jotform and added to our Square customer records for follow-up. We’ll review availability and your event details before sending final information or a Square invoice.

Can the room be arranged for different types of events?+

Absolutely. The open floor plan can be configured for seated celebrations, cocktail-style gatherings, workshops, performances, pop-up shops, and community events.

What does my Event Host help with?+
